Full Name: Christian James
Nicknames: Eden', Red
Codename: Edenfire
Age: 24
DoB: 01/06/1983
Origins: Mutant Hero
Orientation: Straight
Hair Color: Red with orange tints
Eye Color: Blue
Height: 6'0"
Weight: 205 lbs.
Personality: Loud, and always one with a smart-assed remark, Edenfire has been likened to a grabbag. You never know what you might get on any given day. While he has the misplaced charisma of a leader, he hates having others follow him into battle. He just can't own up to the pressure.
Battle Cry: "What if I didn't rock so hard!?"
::Battle Uniform::
Color: Grey
Style: Jumpsuit
Patterns/Markings: Thick, dark red line from his boots along the outside of his legs, up his sides, and the inside of his arms. Heavy shoulder pads, grey in color with dark red trim.
Mask Detail: Game grey as his bodysuit. Covers his forehead, cheeks an chin, but leaves his face and hair free.
Boots and/or Gloves?: Grey (slightly darker than his suit) gloves and boots. Both large/heavily armored.
Clothing Style: Baggy (but not falling from his waist) jeans, and t-shirts, usually in earth tones.
Powers: Blaster class hero. Can focus energy into his hands for a variety of distanced attacks (based on the density, they can be walls of energy, or thin, concentrated sniper beams). Can also "wrap" the energy around his hands for mildly tough melee attacks.
Weakness: Not self-confident enough to handle leading teams into battle; He also has the tendency to lose his cool in tough situations, and throw himself at danger with little regard for his own safety, as well as others. Also has a devastating fear of spiders.
Relations: None known
Contact/Confidant: Elena Long, news editor. Calls when catastrophes occur.
Affiliation: Hero
Skills: Artist and anonymous contributing writer for the Paragon Times.
Interests/Activities: Snowboarding, Paintball.
Bio/History: When Christian's mutant abilities came to rise in his teens, he unwittingly devastated a portion of his highschool cafeteria. The blast was too widespread to do anything but knockback tables and students, but the damage was done: he was branded an outcast.
Ignorantly, he took off on graduation day, packing up his car with his belongings and hitting the road hard. With every state line he passed, he tried to remember his older life as a carefree and accepted human. It was then when he coined the name "Edenfire". The destruction of something beautiful.
As he found himself in Paragon City, he soon realized this was where others like him, gifted with abilities other didn't possess, were not only accepted, but adored. Training under more professional and adept heroes, he gained a slow control and understanding of his abilities, and now fights with his one-time teachers to quell the evil in Paragon.
Example Post: Edenfire laughed to himself, though his shoulders bounced and betrayed his stern frame. Two criminals just outside Atlas Park's city hall parking lot were approaching an older man from behind. As one pulled a baseball bat from his jacket, Edenfire shook his head at the moronic thugs. Petty theft this close to City Hall? The very epicenter of hero activity in this part of Paragon? Ridiculous.
He lifted his gauntlet, and pointed it at one of the thugs. Concentrate, he told himself, aim, for the head...
ZZZAP!
A streak of blue energy pushed through the air, and struck one crook in the back of the head, sending him through the air, and over the older man's head. He turned in shock, unaware he was even about to be mugged.
The second robber stood stunned for a moment. By the time he turned around, he was already a target. Eden' had closed the gap, and was already on top of him. Eden' swung low, energy crackling and pulsing from his hand, as he punched the thug in the gut, and watched him collapse to the ground.
He shook his head, as he grabbed each robber by the belt loops, and tossed one over his shoulder. The Longbow taskforce ever present in each city would manage taking them to a Zigursky jail cell.
"What if I didn't rock so hard," he said under his breath. He gave a simple nod to the old man who was trying to rush to thank the hero. "No need for thanks, pops," he said before the man could talk, "Everybody gets a freebie."
The man stopped, hesitated, then nodded, as Edenfire took to the air again. Another scuffle down, and heaven only knew how many more today would bring.
